Lyle
April 7 through April 28, 2010
I flew to Lyle on April 7 in anticipation of the birth of my grandson. Abel Lee Walker was due to arrive on April 14, 2010. Bob stayed home to finish up some remodeling on the motorhome. He was sorry to miss the opportunity to go to Washington, but we will be taking the motorhome up there in the Fall. Bob will meet his new grandson in person then.
Abel was born at 3:11 a.m. on April 15, 2010. He was 7.15 ounces and 20.5 inches long. He arrived in our arms alert and amazingly coordinated for a newborn. The very first night, he flipped himself from his back to his side.
He already is able to lift his head and hold it up for increasingly long periods of time. He loves to watch your face when you hold him, and he is cute as a button. Well, let the pictures tell the story.
I flew home today, April 28, 2010. It is nice to be home. We look forward to seeing how much Abel has grown when we return to the Pacific Northwest this next fall.
Isn’t he just perfect?!!
